Postnatal Pilates

This class is suitable for Mums looking to get back into exercise but are not sure where to start. The class is designed to introduce your postnatal body back into movement after the demands of pregnancy, vaginal or cesarean section labour and new motherhood. We will cover if you have a diastasis and how to prevent more separation within daily movements.

This class is a gentle introduction back to your body, alignment, breath and movement awareness. You will leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, energised after a healing and restorative movement class while engaging with your baby.

We will follow a beginners class structure through a postnatal lens focussing on the physical demands of breast feeding, carrying a growing baby and postural awareness to ease the new mums' aches and pains while building strength.

  • Please bring a blanket for your bub to lie on.
  • There is no storage room for prams at the venue. Please bring babies in slings.
  • You must have had your 6 week check signed off by your GP to participate.
